About LiftX

LiftX was founded in 2025 on a phone call between two pilots looking for a way forward. What started as a conversation became a business built to do serious aviation work — and to fund something larger: aviation access for mission efforts in places where travel is often limited or cost-prohibitive.

LiftX is led by Kaleb Phillips and Gavin Dillon, private pilots with instrument ratings and a combined decade in aviation. Gavin is working toward his commercial certificate and holds a B.S. in Aviation; Kaleb’s background includes formal training in airport operations. Both are WINGS safety program participants with OSHA, ramp operations, and chemical safety training. We approach every aircraft as pilots first — aware that every surface, panel, and system has operational significance.

Detailing is our core focus. We service aircraft and helicopters for private owners, charter operators, and flight schools, using aircraft-grade products exclusively. Pitot tubes and static ports are covered before every job. Instrumentation and other high-sensitivity areas get extra care. Every aircraft receives a pre- and post-detail inspection to catch anything that needs attention.

Detailing isn’t cosmetic work to us — it’s aircraft stewardship. We treat every aircraft the way we’d treat our own, with an eye for both appearance and airworthiness.

LiftX is insured, with airport access and ramp credentials, and our workflow reflects real familiarity with FAA operating environments. Every aircraft leaves our care meeting the standard we’d demand for our own.

Detailing remains our core business, and we’ve since expanded into aircraft acquisition support and active charter operations — arranging flights with the same discipline we bring to every detail job. Looking ahead, our plans include flight training and expanded mission-support work in the field. Each step of growth follows the same mindset that shaped our founding: deliberate, mission-driven, and focused on doing the work correctly.

Our goal is simple: premium detailing, backed by technical competence and a service ethic that puts the aircraft — and its mission — first.
